What Is a Security Phrase?
Your security phrase is an extra layer of protection for your Vfast account. It helps us confirm your identity when you contact us by phone or email.
It acts as a simple passphrase so we can be sure we are speaking to the correct account holder.
Why Is a Security Phrase Important?
Protects your personal information
It prevents unauthorised changes to your account, even if someone knows your name or address.
Speeds up verification
When you contact our Service Desk or Accounts Team, your security phrase allows us to confirm your identity quickly.
Helps prevent fraud
A unique phrase makes it harder for someone else to impersonate you or access your service details.
What Makes a Good Security Phrase?
A security phrase can be any word or short phrase that you will remember easily.
Examples include:
- A memorable word
- A favourite place
- A short phrase you won’t forget
For security, avoid phrases that could be guessed easily (for example, pet names or anything visible on social media).
How to Add or Update Your Security Phrase
You can change your security phrase at any time using one of the following methods:
Via your my.vfast account
You can add or update your security phrase from your account dashboard.
