Roundcube Webmail – Quick User Guide

This guide covers the most commonly used features in Roundcube, the webmail system used by Vfast.



How to Log In

  1. Go to the Vfast website.
  2. Click SIGN IN (top-right).
  3. Under Check your emails, enter:
    • Username: yourname@vfast.co.uk
    • Password: your email password
  4. Click LOGIN.



Reading Your Emails

  • Your inbox opens automatically after login.
  • Click any email to open it.
  • Use Reply, Reply All, Forward, or Delete at the top of the message



Sending a New Email

  1. Click COMPOSE (top-left).
  2. Enter the recipient’s email address in To.
  3. Add a Subject.
  4. Type your message.
  5. Click SEND.


Adding attachments:

  • Click Attachments or the paperclip icon.
  • Select a file from your device.



Managing Folders

Roundcube includes standard folders:

  • Inbox
  • Sent
  • Drafts
  • Junk
  • Trash


Create a new folder:

  1. Click SETTINGS (bottom-left).
  2. Select Folders.
  3. Click the + icon.
  4. Name the folder and click SAVE.


Move emails to a folder:

  • Drag and drop the email into the folder, or
  • Select the email > click Move to > choose a folder.



Setting Up Your Email Signature

  1. Click SETTINGS (bottom-left).
  2. Select Identities.
  3. Choose your email address.
  4. Scroll to Signature and type your text.
  5. Click SAVE.



Adding and Managing Contacts

  1. Click ADDRESS BOOK (top-right).
  2. Click the + icon to add a contact.
  3. Enter name and email address.
  4. Click SAVE.


You can also create groups to organise contacts.



Searching Your Mailbox

  • Use the Search box at the top of the inbox.
  • Enter a name, subject, or keyword.
  • Use the arrow to filter by From, To, Subject, or Attachments



Marking Emails as Spam

If a message looks suspicious:

  1. Select the email.
  2. Click Mark as > Junk.


This helps improve spam filtering.



Recovering Deleted Emails

  • Deleted messages go to the Trash folder.
  • Open Trash, select the message, and click Move to to restore it.
  • Emptying Trash permanently removes emails.

Managing Mailbox Space (Important)

Vfast mailboxes are limited in size, so regular cleanup is important.


To free up space:

  • Delete old emails you no longer need
  • Empty the TRASH folder
  • Check and clear large emails with attachments
  • Clear the JUNK folder


Tip: Deleting an email does not free space until it is removed from TRASH.

If your mailbox becomes full:

  • New emails may not be delivered
  • You may not be able to send messages


Regular housekeeping avoids this.



Logging Out

Always log out when using shared or public devices.

  1. Click your email address (top-right).
  2. Select LOGOUT.
