Direct Debit Setup
Direct Debit is the standard way to pay for your Vfast service. This guide explains how it is set up, how payments work, and how to update your details if needed.
Why we use Direct Debit
Direct Debit is used because it is:
- Automatic – no manual payments needed
- Secure – protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee
- Reliable – helps ensure your service remains active
- Flexible – easy to change if your bank details update
Your monthly payment date will be either the 1st or the 15th, depending on what was agreed when you ordered.
How Direct Debit is set up
1. During your order
In most cases, your Direct Debit is set up when you place your order:
Online orders
You enter your bank details at checkout.
Phone orders
An advisor takes your bank details securely during the call.
Your Direct Debit is then created automatically.
2. If a new Direct Debit needs setting up later
You can set up a Direct Debit after ordering in one of two ways:
Option A: Direct Debit mandate by email
We send you a secure link to complete the form digitally.
This is processed through our billing system.
Option B: Set up by phone
Contact our Accounts Team and they will complete the setup with you:

All details are handled securely.
How to update or change your bank details
If your bank account changes or a Direct Debit fails, you can update your details at any time.
You can:
- Request a new Direct Debit mandate by email, or
- Call the Accounts Team to update your details
Your new Direct Debit becomes active once the mandate is processed.
Allow 3–5 working days for banks to confirm the new instruction.
Direct Debit payment dates
Your payment date is shown in your welcome email and will be:
- 1st of each month, or
- 15th of each month
Payments are taken in advance for the upcoming month.
If your payment date falls on a weekend or bank holiday, your bank may process it on the next working day.
Direct Debit Guarantee
All Direct Debits are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee. This protects you if:
- An incorrect amount is taken
- A payment is taken on the wrong date
- A duplicate payment is made
Your bank will refund any incorrect payment immediately.
