Voicemail & Call Features

Vfast DigiVoice includes a simple set of core calling features designed to replace a traditional home phone line while remaining reliable and easy to use.

This page explains what features are available, what’s not supported, and where to find more detailed guides if needed.

Included Call Features

Voicemail

Your DigiVoice service includes network-based voicemail as standard.

  • Messages are stored securely on our phone system
  • You don’t need a handset with built-in voicemail
  • Messages can be listened to from your DigiVoice phone
  • A tone alerts you when new messages are waiting

If you prefer to use your own answering machine, voicemail can be disabled on request.

Caller ID (Calling Line Identification)

When you make a call, your phone number is presented to the person you are calling.

  • This helps contacts recognise who is calling
  • Outgoing caller ID is set automatically
  • Caller ID is presented automatically and cannot be withheld or changed

Call Waiting

Call Waiting lets you to receive a second call while already on the phone.

  • You will hear a tone when a second call arrives
  • You can choose to answer or ignore it
  • Helps prevent missed calls

Features Not Supported

To keep DigiVoice simple and reliable, some features are not available.

Call Forwarding

Redirecting calls to another number is not supported.

Star Codes

Feature codes such as *21 or *67 are not supported.

Call Barring

Call barring is not available as a standard feature.

In rare cases (for example, nuisance or abusive calls), network-level restrictions may be applied after investigation.

Emergency Calling

DigiVoice supports emergency calls, but works differently from a traditional landline.

  • Calls rely on your broadband connection and mains power
  • Location information is based on your registered address

Using Your Own Phone Equipment

Most customers connect a standard analogue phone directly to their router using the supplied adapter.

  • DECT cordless phones are recommended
  • Existing wall phone sockets may be usable in some Ultrafast Broadband (OFNL) setups
