Ultrafast Broadband (Full Fibre)

Ultrafast Broadband (also called Full Fibre or FTTP/FTTH) uses fibre-optic cabling directly into your home, delivering the fastest and most reliable broadband available.

How It Works

  • Fibre runs directly into your property
  • Connects to an ONT (Optical Network Terminal) inside your home
  • Your router plugs into the ONT for internet and Wi-Fi
  • No phone line is required

Why Choose Ultrafast?

  • Very high speeds for streaming, gaming, and home working
  • Low latency for smoother video calls and online play
  • More reliable than copper broadband
  • No speed loss over distance
  • Ready for future upgrades
  • Available on multiple networks (Vfast Fibre, OFNL, CityFibre, Openreach)

Installation

  • If an ONT is already installed, little or no internal work is needed
  • Otherwise, an engineer installs the ONT and fibre cable
  • Typical install time: 1–2 hours
  • A small entry hole may be required

Equipment

  • A Full Fibre compatible router is required
  • We can supply a pre-configured router, or you may use your own

Common Questions

Can I get Ultrafast Broadband?

Availability depends on local fibre networks. Use our Service Checker to check options.

Do I need a landline?

No. If you want a phone service, DigiVoice can be added.

Can I keep my phone number?

In most cases, yes. Numbers can usually be transferred to DigiVoice.

Will I get the full advertised speed?

Your service is delivered within the speed range shown at checkout. Wi-Fi speeds may be lower due to layout, interference, or device limits.

Is Full Fibre reliable?

Yes. It is unaffected by distance and less prone to interference than copper services.

What happens to my old service?

Once Full Fibre is live, you can cancel your previous service. Check any contract end dates first.
