Connect a Smart TV

Samsung Smart TV 

Wired Connection

1. Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN port on the back of the TV.
2. Press Home on the remote.
3. Go to Settings > General > Network > Network Settings.
4. Select Wired.
5. The TV will connect automatically.

Wireless Connection

1. Press Home on the remote.
2. Go to Settings > General > Network > Network Settings.
3. Select Wireless.
4. Choose your Wi-Fi network.
5. Enter your Wi-Fi password and select Done.
6. Wait for the confirmation screen.

LG Smart TV

Wired Connection

1. Connect an Ethernet cable from the router to the LAN port on the TV.
2. Press Settings.
3. Go to Network > Wired Connection (Ethernet).
4. The TV will connect automatically.

Wireless Connection

1. Press Settings.
2. Go to Network > Wi-Fi Connection.
3. Select your Wi-Fi network.
4. Enter the Wi-Fi password and select Connect.

Sony Bravia

Wired Connection

1. Connect an Ethernet cable from the router to the LAN port on the TV.
2. Press Home.
3. Go to Settings > Network & Internet.
4. Select Wired LAN.
5. The TV will connect automatically.

Wireless Connection

1. Press Home.
2. Go to Settings > Network & Internet.
3. Select Wi-Fi and switch it On.
4. Select your network.
5. Enter the Wi-Fi password.

Hisense Smart TV

Wired Connection

1. Connect an Ethernet cable from the router to the TV’s LAN port.
2. Press Settings.
3. Go to Network & Internet.
4. Select Wired Network.

Wireless Connection

1. Press Settings
2. Go to Network & Internet.
3. Turn Wi-Fi on.
4. Select your Wi-Fi network.
5. Enter the Wi-Fi password.

Amazon Fire TV

Wired Connection

(Requires the Fire TV Ethernet Adapter unless you have a Fire TV Cube with a LAN port.)

1. Connect the Ethernet adapter into the Fire TV power cable.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable from your router into the adapter.
3. Fire TV will automatically detect the wired connection.

Wireless Connection

1. On the home screen go to Settings > Network.
2. Select your Wi-Fi network.
3. Enter your Wi-Fi password.

Roku

Wired Connection (if model supports Ethernet)

1. Plug an Ethernet cable into the router and the Roku’s Ethernet port.
2. Go to Settings > Network > Set up connection.
3. Select Wired.
4. It will connect automatically.

Wireless Connection

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Network.
3. Choose Set up connection > Wireless.
4. Select your Wi-Fi network.
5. Enter your Wi-Fi password.
