Connect a Smart TV
Samsung Smart TV
Wired Connection
- Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN port on the back of the TV.
- Press Home on the remote.
- Go to Settings > General > Network > Network Settings.
- Select Wired.
- The TV will connect automatically.
Wireless Connection
- Press Home on the remote.
- Go to Settings > General > Network > Network Settings.
- Select Wireless.
- Choose your Wi-Fi network.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password and select Done.
- Wait for the confirmation screen.
LG Smart TV
Wired Connection
- Connect an Ethernet cable from the router to the LAN port on the TV.
- Press Settings.
- Go to Network > Wired Connection (Ethernet).
- The TV will connect automatically.
Wireless Connection
- Press Settings.
- Go to Network > Wi-Fi Connection.
- Select your Wi-Fi network.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password and select Connect.
Sony Bravia
Wired Connection
- Connect an Ethernet cable from the router to the LAN port on the TV.
- Press Home.
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet.
- Select Wired LAN.
- The TV will connect automatically.
Wireless Connection
- Press Home.
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet.
- Select Wi-Fi and switch it On.
- Select your network.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password.
Hisense Smart TV
Wired Connection
- Connect an Ethernet cable from the router to the TV’s LAN port.
- Press Settings.
- Go to Network & Internet.
- Select Wired Network.
Wireless Connection
- Press Settings
- Go to Network & Internet.
- Turn Wi-Fi on.
- Select your Wi-Fi network.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password.
Amazon Fire TV
Wired Connection
(Requires the Fire TV Ethernet Adapter unless you have a Fire TV Cube with a LAN port.)
- Connect the Ethernet adapter into the Fire TV power cable.
- Connect an Ethernet cable from your router into the adapter.
- Fire TV will automatically detect the wired connection.
Wireless Connection
- On the home screen go to Settings > Network.
- Select your Wi-Fi network.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password.
Roku
Wired Connection (if model supports Ethernet)
- Plug an Ethernet cable into the router and the Roku’s Ethernet port.
- Go to Settings > Network > Set up connection.
- Select Wired.
- It will connect automatically.
Wireless Connection
- Go to Settings.
- Select Network.
- Choose Set up connection > Wireless.
- Select your Wi-Fi network.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password.
